Form C Registration
Indian law requires hotels to report the stay of every foreign national. We file this for you — we just need a few details at check-in.
What Form C is
Under the Registration of Foreigners Rules, every hotel in India must report the arrival and departure of guests who are not Indian nationals. This report is called Form C, and it is submitted electronically to the Bureau of Immigration.
It is our obligation, not yours. You do not need to fill in or file anything yourself.
What we need from you at check-in
- Passport — the photo page
- Indian visa
- Date of arrival in India
- Your next destination, if you know it
We take a copy at the front desk and file the report the same day. It takes a couple of minutes.
A note on accuracy
Please make sure the name on your booking matches your passport exactly. A mismatch is the one thing that causes delay at check-in, and it is easily avoided.
