Our garden sits directly alongside the banquet hall, which means bad weather costs you a change of room rather than a change of plan — and nobody has to make that call three days out on a forecast.
Between the two spaces we take 500 to 600 guests. How that translates for your function depends on whether you want round tables, a buffet line, a stage and a dance floor — all of which come out of the same ground. Tell us the plan and we will give you the honest number.
When to hold a garden wedding here
Banswara's weather is not a detail for an outdoor function. This is the advice we would give a family member.
- October – February Ideal
Cool evenings, no rain, and the garden at its best. This is when almost every wedding here happens — and why these dates book out first.
- March, September Workable
Warm but manageable after sunset. Plan the ceremony late and keep water and fans available.
- July – August Risky outdoors
Monsoon. A garden function can be beautiful between showers and ruined by one. This is exactly when having the indoor hall alongside stops being a detail.
- April – June Not advised outdoors
Banswara passes 40°C. Guests in wedding clothes will not enjoy an outdoor daytime function. Use the hall, or move the whole thing to after dark.
Room to arrive
The garden has the frontage for a baraat to come in as it should, rather than bottlenecking at a doorway. Parking is on site, which matters more than people expect at four hundred guests.

How many guests does the marriage garden hold?
The open garden and banquet hall together take 500 to 600 guests. Seated and floating numbers differ — tell us your layout and we will give you the real figure rather than the best case.
What happens if it rains on the wedding day?
You move indoors. The banquet hall sits alongside the garden, so a change in weather means changing rooms rather than changing plans. A venue with only a garden has no answer to this question.
Is the catering vegetarian?
Yes. Our kitchen has been entirely pure vegetarian since 2003, and all catering comes from it. That suits many families here — if it does not suit yours, it is better to know at the first conversation than the last.
Can wedding guests stay at the hotel?
Yes, and most families do. We have 49 rooms, usually taken as a block with the Royal Suite for the immediate family. Guests who have travelled from Udaipur or Ahmedabad are not driving across town at one in the morning.
Which months are best for a garden wedding in Banswara?
